Required Information when reporting a problem:

ODBC

  1. Product and version number.
  2. License Key.
  3. If you have licensed the product, who you licensed the product through (distributor name or HiT Software).
  4. Operating system and version where the ODBC driver is running, including Service Pack and MDAC versions.
  5. Operating system (OS/400, OS/390, AIX, NT, Solaris, etc.) and version for the system running your DB2.
  6. DSN configuration details (see http://www.hitsw.com/support/kbase/odbc/Save_DSN.htm on how to save DSN configuration to a file).
  7. Applications or development environments used (versions, service packs, components, key technologies). Code samples, if applicable.
  8. Problem explanation; errors description and frequency (intermittent or systematic).
  9. Previous versions of the product used and related behavior, if applicable.
