- The product now uses crypto and SSL modules that are FIPS validated
- The FIPS modules come as separate jar files, hitsecurity_win.jar is for Windows
platforms and hitsecurity_unix.jar for other non-Windows platforms
- Provides support for RSA certificates
- SSL Toolbox now supports both RSA and DSA certificates
- RSA certificates are now used by default, previously only DSA certificates were used
- More supported ciphersuites (TLS ciphersuites in FIPS approved mode)
- Added a SafeConduct Windows client with a graphical user interface for configuring
connections. The client can be run as an application or a Windows service.
