HiT’s OLE DB products are OLE DB
providers designed to enable access to DB2/400 data. They access the Optimized Database
Server subsystem on the AS/400 using either TCP/IP or APPC connections. Developer editions
of the product include Visual Basic and VBScript source code examples for accessing data
using ADO, as well as trace and debugging tools. For greater efficiency, HiT OLEDB products support multi-threading using both the apartment model and the free-threaded model. They synchronize calls among multiple threads without relying on the OLE support. |
