HiT JDBC/DB2
Welcome to HiT JDBC/DB2, Java SQL middleware
for access to IBM DB2 servers running on z/OS and OS/390, VSE/VM,
AIX, Solaris, Linux, OS/2, and Windows platforms. HiT JDBC/DB2 runs
on any operating system running JVM 1.02 or later. HiT JDBC/DB2
is 100% Pure Java Type 4 middleware and can be accessed from JDK
1.1 and later environments to retrieve and update DB2 data. All
communication with the DB2 server can also be optionally encrypted
and authenticated via SSL with HiT
SSL Server. Leveraging the IBM Distributed Relational Database
Architecture (DRDA) protocol standard, HiT JDBC/DB2 uses native
IBM server programs and does not require any additional software
running on the DB2 server.
