Welcome to Ritmo/i5 Client Developer Edition (DE), 100% managed Windows .NET data provider for application access to IBM System i, iSeries and AS/400 platforms. Ritmo/i5 Client DE runs on Windows platforms and is used by custom or third party product applications. Designed with performance as a priority, Ritmo/i5 Client DE accepts application SQL statements that more efficiently access, retrieve, and update DB2 for i5/OS data. Leveraging the native IBM Optimized Database Server protocol standard, Ritmo/i5 Client DE does not require any additional software at the DB2 server.

Ritmo/i5 Developer Edition is fully integrated with Visual Studio 2005, enabling developers to quickly build forms and reports that communicate with DB2 for i5/OS servers to access, retrieve, and update data. Additionally, Ritmo/i5 integrates with Microsoft SQL Server to generate reports or import DB2 data into SQL Server. A C# Toolkit is included with source code examples.

Ritmo/i5 licensing is available for both Windows Client and Server platforms.
