Combined with HiT ODBC or OLE DB middleware, corporate developers now have an excellent "kick-start" for DB2 application integration within the Visual Basic development environment.

HiT VB Toolkit drastically cuts application development time by providing developers working source code samples for accessing DB2 tables data using ADO, RDO, DAO, and ODBCDirect interfaces. The samples show how to establish connections using recordsets, executing stored procedures, as well as updating DB2 data. All samples work with multi-generation DB2 servers and platforms. HiT VB Toolkit runs on Windows servers or Windows workstations and communicates with the DB2 server via HiT ODBC and OLEDB products.
