DBMoto 7 Features
Multi-Server Synchronization
DBMoto 7 now permits organizations to initiate and maintain synchronization (concurrent Change Data
Capture between both source and target databases) among more than two databases. With Multi-Server
Synchronization, organizations can add multiple tables from two or more databases to the replication
group, allowing all the selected tables in the group to be updated with the same changes. Using
specialized conflict resolution methodology, DBMoto can manage the synchronizations automatically, in
a timed or real-time fashion. Multi-Server Synchronization allows businesses to keep multiple copies of
updated information available across their company regardless of location, servicing all operational
(ERP, CRM), business intelligence and data warehouse application needs. DBMoto’s support for all major
relational databases assures users that they can include existing systems in the synchronization, without
being required to update systems or databases.
Data Verification and Data Assessment
DBMoto 7 sports a new feature called DBMoto Verifier™ - a useful tool that is used to compare data before
and after replication. DBMoto Verifier saves administrative time and effort to discover outliers or anomalies
in changed data, helping refine the accuracy of replication design, and saving results to a file format of
choice. Results can be used to monitor, standardize and make further changes to data replications or other
data management activities.
DBMoto 7 now offers the ability to identify and export changed data history. Using the Data Assessment feature,
DBMoto 7 can log and report on transaction, timestamp, user, destination, before/after status, administrative
rights, and other components of the changed data. This is a critical feature for regulated businesses that
are required to prepare compliance reporting. For businesses evaluating Data Governance and Master Data
Management strategies, Data Assessment is the first step to gaining better visibility and control over
data definitions and usage.
Enhanced Administrative Security Options
In addition to significant new server capabilities that enable remote administrative control
of DBMoto from any selected location, or multiple locations, DBMoto 7 now offers enhancements that make
enterprise management easy and flexible. DBMoto administrators have the freedom to select security
options from DBMoto, or from their Microsoft Windows Integrated Security options, to manage multiple user
access on functional-level operations. Enhancements to metadata management provide support for backup/recovery
operations, disaster recovery plans, data migration and ease of updates/reinstalls.
