Auto-set Combined Nodes.This feature allows you to automate your combine settings based on an existing XML file. Based on the contents of the XML file, values in the Combined Node, Combine Key and Group columns are set. For any node that is combined, the combine key is set to the child attributes of the node that is combined. Once the auto-set operation is complete, you can modify settings in the XML Structure tab.
There are some restrictions on the XML file that you use:
It should contain a structure you would like to mimic when marshalling DB data to XML.
It should use the XML schema or DTD included in your project
All nodes used in the XML file should be mapped. The nodes can either be mapped directly to database columns, parameters, expressions or constants or their descendant nodes should be mapped.
When you choose this option, any current settings in the XML Structure tab will be lost.
In the XML Structure tab toolbar, click
Auto-set Combined Nodes.
